Apart from all the text on this website quite a few pictures can be viewed in the various articles. Various folks have asked me repeatedly which cameras I have used. Also, what were the detailed settings, what about the lens, why have you not used a flash, etc. Here is a brief list that will hopefully answer the very basic question of which cameras I have used. As I am not a professional photographer, I do hope the disappointment regarding the below is not too big.
- Nikon D3200
- Samsung Galaxy S3 mini
- Fujifilm X10
- Canon Powershot A710 IS
- Canon Eos 350D
- scanned printed photograph (yes, believe it or not, printing proper photographs is still not dead; shot with a Nikon F80)
- and maybe one or the other camera model where a friend has taken the picture.
In addition to my Nikon D3200, I have now started using a three-legged tripod. It is the Alpha 3500, and since using it the sharpness in pic-details has been overwhelming. Now that the not so nice winter days seem to be over, I am eager to get outside again to capture the start of spring and try out my latest combination of tripod plus Nikon.
Pictures taken (by me) after approximately beginning of November 2014 have been taken with a Nikon D3200. Now here comes the shocker (well, maybe not). I have manipulated all the Nikon-taken pics and decreased pixels dramatically. Why that? Simple answer: so storage for the blog does not explode and also to increase download speed.
If you would like to have one or more of the pictures in this blog in full size and quality, please get in touch with me. I’ll have a look whether I have the object of desire available in a more advanced format and will send it to you. And please let me know what you would like to use it for.
Apart from that, I am more than happy to receive any suggestions and individual training classes to improve on photo-skills…
